Valeo Warranty Policy

VALEO TRANSMISSIONS’ products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of purchase on passenger car and light truck applications, and 12 months on medium and heavy duty truck applications. This warranty does not apply if the VALEO TRANSMISSIONS’ products are not installed and used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for such installation and operation and in accordance with proper installation and maintenance practices of the automotive industry.

This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been improperly maintained or repaired, nor to products that have been altered, misused, or damaged by accident or negligence.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF TITLE, OR OTHER WARRANTY OF QUALITY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ALL EXPRESSED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUDES ALL LABOR CHARGES OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

VALEO TRANSMISSIONS reserves the right to examine all parts returned for warranty claims to determine whether or not any such part has failed because of a defect in material or workmanship. VALEO TRANSMISSIONS under this warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing or crediting, at its option, any part found to be so defective.

Regardless of whether any part is repaired, replaced or credited under this limited warranty, transportation charges for the return of such part must be prepaid by the customer.
